Storytelling

Use digital media to tell a story featuring technology from the past, present, or future.

Technology allows stories to be told and shared in creative and engaging ways.  Explore tools that allow you to use a mix of media types (text, graphics, audio, and video) to create videos, animations, websites, games, slide shows, etc.  

 

For story ideas think about the many ways that technology touches your life—social media, art, music, space exploration, education, transportation, healthcare, etc.  Your story can be made up or based on real events. It’s your story, so tell it your way!

Rules and Guidelines

Students will need to follow these rules and guidelines:

  • use at least one form of digital media

  • technology should be part of the story line

  • content must be appropriate for school

  • must not exceed 10 minutes in length

Digital Media is content (text, graphics, audio, and video) that can be accessed on a machine (computer, phone, t.v., radio, gaming console, etc.)
