During a gallery walk, students explore their peers' work and get feedback on their own by visiting project stations where work is displayed on the wall or placed on desks/tables.  This activity can occur at the end of a project or while the project is in a design or draft stage.  In both cases, the experience allows students to grow from the insights of others.  Gallery walks can also be opened up to community members, including family, friends, and industry experts.

Students should be encouraged to give kind, specific, and helpful feedback.

  • I like - What do you like?

  • I think - Is there something that you think could be clarified or improved?

  • I wonder - Do you have any ideas to contribute?
