Even though online shopping is gaining popularity and physical stores are declining, there will still be a demand for brick and mortar locations in the future, but the brands that survive will do so by understanding their customers and providing an experience that makes the trip worthwhile.

Working in teams, act as a consulting group for a clothing store in your community that caters to shoppers of your generation and provide recommendations on how technology can be used to improve their shoppers' experience and increase sales.

Take a close look at what you like and dislike about going shopping.  For instance, you may like being able to physically touch the clothing, but you may get exhausted from trying to find something that is the right fit and look for you.  What if the store had a tool that would quickly and precisely measure you?  How could the store use this information to guide your shopping experience?  What other data could the store use to personalize your visit?
